Shimmering fish, colourful coral, and the sunken MS MIKE await you in the depths of the Quellenhof’s ocean. In the six-metre-deep diving pool, you can give diving a go, try your hand at scuba diving, or even get your diving certification.

Our certified diving instructor Elias introduces children and adults to this fascinating water sport. First, you will receive a theoretical and practical introduction to diving basics, such as underwater hand signals, breathing techniques, and equipment handling. Then, you can try your first diving attempts in the swimming pool and experience the indescribable feeling of weightlessness as you glide through the water. Children from the age of eight can complete exciting AquaMissions in the basic course and become members of the PADI Seal Team. With a little experience, ten more challenging AquaMissions await, which are rewarded with the Master Seal diving certificate. These missions include recognising and identifying underwater creatures, finding objects underwater, salvaging, and more. The scuba diving courses are suitable for guests from the age of 10 (Junior) or 15 (PADI) and culminate in the diving certification that allows you to dive to a depth of twelve metres worldwide.

This course offers an introduction to the underwater world. Participants will learn how to handle the diving equipment and try their hand at diving in the pool. A variety of underwater games will help them build up their confidence in the water and teach them how to enjoy the feeling of weightlessness.
All activities will be under the continuous supervision of a diving instructor. This course is specially devised for people with no previous experience of diving.
Price: €70.00 per person for a 1 ½ hours lession

The Seal Team course is the perfect choice for young divers looking for fun and adventure.
Exciting aquatic missions in the pool will give you the chance to enjoy the sense of weightlessness as well as to learn and practise underwater hand signalling, breathing techniques, equipment handling, underwater floating, regulator recovery and pressure equalisation techniques. A diving instructor will be there to supervise activities for the entire duration of the course.
With each mission completed you will receive a sticker for your logbook, a t-shirt sew-on sticker and at the end of the course you will receive a CD with diving videos and the diving licence.
Price: 210,00€ per person for a 3 ½-hour lesson

Building up on what they have learned with the Seal Team course, children can now hone their diving skills tackling 10 more aquatic adventures and obtain the Master Seal diving certificate. Special missions include identifying underwater creatures, finding and recovering objects and diving using only a mask, snorkel and fins.

PADI Scuba Diver certification allows you to dive at any PADI dive centre worldwide to a maximum depth of 12 metres under the supervision of a PADI instructor or dive leader. PADI dive courses are all modular and PADI Scuba Diver is the first level of the PADI Open Water course, so you can expand your training at any PADI dive centre in the world at a later date. PADI also offers e-learning to allow you to complete the theory modules at any time. We provide the online course materials free of charge.
Price: 300,00€ per person - 2 times 3 ½ hours diving + e-learning materials (split over 2 days).

Please note that while diving is a fascinating and fulfilling sport, it can be an extreme situation for the body.
Therefore, you should avoid ascending more than 200 metres in altitude for a period of six hours following the dive.
