UNESCO-World nature heritage Dolomites
So close to heaven during your stay in South Tyrol
Unique mountains. A wonderful landscape. Simply a dream, and only an hour from the Quellenhof.
Don't miss out on an excursion ...
... to the legendary Dolomite Mountains during a holiday in our hotel. The highest mountain of the Dolomites is the Marmolata, simply a must in winter if you do the Sella Ronda ski tour. Good endurance and fitness are however required for this adventure. In summer, we recommend an excursion to Seiser Alm, and why not, with the Quellenhof cabriolet VW Beetle. The biggest high-alpine plateau in Europe awaits you with vast alpine pastures, comfortable hiking trails and exceptional panoramic views. Do you want to climb the symbol of South Tyrol, namely Schlern Mountain? From Seiser Alm from Compatsch via Saltner Hut the ascent to Schlern Mountain takes about 3 hours. Also beautiful is the Rosengarten Mountain, especially during sunrise, when the entire mountain shines in a red colour. Idyllic places and South Tyrolean legends enchant guests of all ages.
Interesting information about the Dolomites:
- The Dolomites stretch over the provinces of South Tyrol, Trentino and Belluno
- Popular peaks in the Dolomites: Marmolata (3,342 m), Three Peaks, Sella, Rosengarten, Schlern, Geisler, Langkofel
- Characteristic are the gentle alpine pastures with limestone and Dolomite reefs on top
