Hatha, yin, vinyasa, yoga nidra, singing bowl meditation & pranayama
The experience of our yoga teacher Melanie Her experience ranges from hatha, yin, vinyasa, yoga nidra, singing bowl meditation, pranayama to yoga for children. The yoga sessions are a harmonious fluid practice that includes stretching and muscular strengthening exercises starting from the asanas. The underlying idea of Prana Vinyasa Yoga is to experience yoga rather than practise it. An invitation to reunite with your breath and activate your vital energy. It is considered a living creative type of yoga because it includes many aspects of Ayurveda, Tantra and Bhakti. Prana Vinyasa Yoga is considered a very free practice and participants can exercise outdoors in natural surroundings as the mood takes them, even without a mat. Also at Quellenhof yoga lessons are held outdoors, weather permitting. In the spring, summer and autumn you can therefore enjoy an hour’s relaxation outdoors listening to the birdsong or the rippling sound of the lake. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a beginner or more advanced - everyone is welcome at our yoga lessons, which are included in the price of your room.
If you think yoga is only for people with an interest in esotericism, you’re wrong.
Yoga is ideal also for those who suffer from back problems, headaches and neck pain. The fluid movements relax the muscles and relieve tension. Starting from the asanas, flexibility, sense of balance and strength are improved. The movements activate the blood flow to the muscles, tendons, ligaments, blood vessels and lymphatic vessels.
Meditation is also fundamental in yoga and is used at the beginning or at the end of each session to promote concentration on the essential. Several times a week we also offer meditation with Tibetan bowls. The sound of the bowls harmonizes mind and soul. Each sound is perceived differently. Close your eyes and listen carefully. We can guarantee you a completely new experience. After the meditationyou will see the world in a different light and enjoy a completely new tranquillity.
