There has been an intimate, fine gourmet restaurant at the five-star Quellenhof Luxury Resort Passeier since 2016. The name refers to the year that the Quellenhof was founded, 1897. Built as a simple post office in Via Passiria, over the years the Quellenhof became a popular meeting place. Day guests and first-time holiday makers come from far and wide to sample the freshly caught trout from the Passirio river, served in a variety of ways.

Today, the gourmet restaurant is an essential part of one of the leading five-star hotels in the Alps. Under the careful guidance of our Head Chef, Michael Mayr, you can choose between a âgourmet journeyâ or a âdeluxe journeyâ. His three sous chefs â Karin Ennemoser, Klaus Burgstaller and Roman Vidovic â are always at his side.Â
A true land of plenty, in South Tyrol, a wide variety of regional products can be found right on our doorstep. Fresh herbs from the kitchenâs herb garden. Fresh fish delivered daily from the fish farm in nearby San Leonardo in Passiria â the fresh water in the mountain streams offers the perfect conditions for cultivating wonderful, healthy fish. By taking part in herbal hikes with our entire kitchen team, you can help rediscover those forgotten herbal treasures that often add that finishing touch to our delicious dishes.
Our passionate sommelier & mùitre Matteo Lattanzi, will recommend the perfect drop of wine to accompany your meal. There are over 700 labels stored in the Quellenhof wine cellar, most of which are from South Tyrol.
